Become a Spy
NB: This itinerary can be changed to meet the requirements of a range of different age groups and interests. Some activities listed here have age restrictions.
Day 1: Check-in early at your central London hotel, where you will be able to leave your bags whilst you join an exclusive Spies and Spycatchers Walk around the City. A visit to the Cabinet War Rooms to see Britain’s plans for protecting the Government in the 2nd World War will complete the first of four exciting days.
Day 2: Today you will leave your hotel early in a chauffeur driven armoured car to head for Essex to visit Kelveden Hatch, a secret nuclear bunker hidden underground and protected by a guardhouse which appears to be little more than a farm workers cottage hidden deep in the countryside. After you visit here, your chauffeur driven car will take you Milton Keynes where you can become a Spy at Spy Missions, a unique interactive experience. Your hotel for the night will be in Milton Keynes.
Day 3: The thrill and excitement continues today with your very own training session, which will include vital sniper techniques (non live ammunition obviously!), including camouflage and marksmanship before getting to grips with the art of hand to hand combat. You will learn specialist skills such as knife work, blocks and take downs, and race an off road Bocart Buggy around a track at speeds of up to 30 mph. You will conclude the day by handling a 9mm pistol. You will then leave Milton Keynes and travel to Crewe for your final night.
Day 4: You will be met at your hotel by taxi, and taken for a short taxi journey to Hack Green, another secret nuclear bunker and regional control centre. As part of your visit here you will also see the equipment Margaret Thatcher used during her tenure as Britain’s Prime Minister and learn more about The Cold War. You will then return to London on the West Coast Mainline for your final night in the City. Before returning to your hotel you will have the opportunity to purchase some of your own spyware at Harrod’s Spymaster retail outlet.
